Licence and oversight
TitanDC is licensed under Category I for advice and intermediary services in long-term insurance (subcategories A, B1, B1-A, B2, B2-A and C), short-term insurance (personal lines, personal lines A1 and commercial lines), retail pension benefits, pension fund benefits, participatory interests in collective investment schemes and health service benefits.
Our compliance officers are Mr P Kotze and Mr AJ Mains of Masthead, telephone 021 555 4121. TitanDC holds professional indemnity and fidelity guarantee cover. Our Information Officer is Johan Geldenhuys and our Deputy Information Officer is Dean Geldenhuys.
Your statutory disclosure notice
Every client receives our Statutory Disclosure Notice at the start of the relationship. It sets out our licence, our product supplier relationships and any concentration of business, the basis on which we are independent, how we are paid, including commission and the policy fee on short-term insurance, your rights, and how to complain. Costs and your decision
Before accepting a recommendation, ask for the applicable fees, commission and other remuneration, any material conflict, the product terms and the reasons for the recommendation.
